DIRECTIONS: Take Hwy 19-A, heading out of Campbell River toward Elk Falls/Gold River. Turn RIGHT onto the logging road bridge at Canyon View Trail. Cross the bridge over the river and continue for 850m, following the logging road up the hill until it intersects with Iron River Rd.

TRUE TRAIL: Approx 5km (runners & walkers)

HASH CASH: $5

DOG-FRIENDLY? Yes (But on leash over steep/tricky terrain please!)

STROLLER-FRIENDLY? Not this time, sorry.

NOTES:

To celebrate Star Wars Day, we’re going all the way back to 1983 for some “Return of the Jedi” nostalgia. We need your help for a special mission — the fate of the galaxy is in your hands!

No separate walkers’ route this time, and not many shortcuts, but we’ll do our best to reign in the fast runners and keep the pack together. Expect easy-to-moderate forest terrain, and maybe bring a bear bell if you like (though we’ll be making lots of noise on trail, shouldn’t have to worry about any critter encounters).
